Role Overview:

• The Operations Supervisor leads the team in daily product receiving, storage, loading, and product blending to lorries and vessels, inspects and evaluates facility and equipment condition to ensure continuous operations, and assists in overseeing and implementing maintenance activities professionally.
• This person shall also be responsible in analyzing and recommending ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs in terminal operations.
• Supervise day-to-day fuel movements within the facility, ensuring operations are safely performed, equipment and assets are well-maintained and external regulations are complied with, while achieving the company and business objectives.
• Assists terminal lead in overseeing terminal operations to prevent disruptions or downtime on loading operations.
• Supervises preparation, set up, and pumping operations, assuming the role of loading master, during tanker receiving and loading, and of quality control and documentation of these activities.
• Maintains and provides efficient backup to supply chain department, ensuring sufficient inventory levels.
• Monitors the strict implementations of administrative, health, safety, and environmental safety policies, standard operating procedures, and rules and regulations at all levels in the terminal, ensuring the and aligning with compliance to government laws and ordinances.
• Maintains and creates necessary records and reports such as, but not limited to supply inventories, equipment history and calibration records, near-miss, incident and accident reports, and monthly summary and highlight reports, among others.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum.
• Engineering license is not required, but a plus.
• At least five years of experience in terminal operations management.
• Has knowledge of methods, practices, equipment, and machinery used in depot and terminal operations.
• Has knowledge of occupational safety and health and environmental safety guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Has good interpersonal and communication skills, translating to strong customer service skills and being able to work with people of different backgrounds.
• Has good people management skills.
• Has initiative and can work with minimal supervision.
• Amenable to work in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Tagoloan residents are highly prioritized.
