The Construction and Maintenance Engineer will be responsible on full project management of construction plans for the client’s retail gasoline stations within the assigned region and on ensuring repair, maintenance (breakdown and preventive), and rehabilitation or renovation to maintain good operating conditions.
Ensure compliance to local building codes, applicable standards, and local government requirements to make sure conformity to engineering practices and promoting health and safety in the work area.
Inspect construction site to determine construction or maintenance requirements.
Collaborate with design engineers on gas station layout and other standards and specifications and with third-party contractors for project implementation.
Determine proper estimates and costing for materials and contracts involved in station construction or maintenance.
Lead charge in project implementation, aligning technical concerns on site, monitoring progress, and securing safety during the entire project.
Provide expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities and attending to dealer and contractor concerns during such scenarios.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture
At least three (3) years of experience in construction project management for any commercial establishments, with retail gas station experience as a plus
Experience in construction, mechanical, electrical, or structural work is an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills, experienced in talking with people of different levels.
Amenable to work in any part of Visayas, with home base at Cebu (Visayas Area)
